Objective: The fund seeks to offer broad, low cost exposure to stocks of companies, ranging from small to large cap, in developed and emerging countries excluding the United States.

Strategy: The The Fund is managed using a "passive" or "indexing" investment approach, by which State Street attempts to match, before expenses, the performance of the Index. State Street will typically attempt to invest in the securities comprising the Index in the same proportions as they are represented in the Index.
